Terms of Service

By creating an account or using WatchMySubs ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and H2M Labs, the company operating WatchMySubs.

WatchMySubs helps you monitor your SaaS subscriptions by processing billing receipts you forward (or we fetch via Gmail OAuth), detecting billing anomalies, and sending you alerts. The Service is a monitoring tool — it does not make purchases, cancel subscriptions, or interact with your vendors on your behalf.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you are.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate information when signing up.
• You may not share your account with others or use the Service to monitor subscriptions belonging to people who have not consented.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Pro users may connect their Gmail account to allow WatchMySubs to fetch billing emails automatically. By connecting Gmail, you acknowledge the following:

• Scope of access: We request read-only access to your Gmail inbox (gmail.readonly) and the Gmail History API (gmail.history) to detect new billing emails incrementally. We do not request write, send, or delete permissions.
• What we read: We scan only for emails that match billing keywords. Non-billing emails are ignored and never stored. We never read personal correspondence, attachments, or emails from people.
• What we store: We extract and store structured billing metadata (vendor, amount, date) only. Raw email bodies are never stored. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and are used solely to authenticate Gmail API requests.
• AI processing: Email text that passes the billing filter is sent to Anthropic's API for structured extraction. Anthropic does not use this data to train models. See Anthropic's privacy policy for details.
• Reconnect limit: To prevent abuse, you may reconnect your Gmail account a maximum of 2 times within any 30-day rolling window.
• Revoking access: You can disconnect Gmail at any time from Settings. This immediately deletes your stored OAuth tokens and stops all Gmail syncing. You can also revoke access directly from your Google account security settings at myaccount.google.com.
• Google's policies: WatchMySubs's use of Gmail data is subject to Google's API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The Service is available on two tiers:

• Free: Manual email forwarding, up to 3 subscriptions, weekly digest. No credit card required. Free forever.
• Pro: All Free features plus Gmail OAuth, unlimited subscriptions, real-time alerts, and CSV export. Billed monthly ($12) or annually ($108). Cancel anytime.
• Lifetime Deal: All Pro features for a one-time payment of $149. Capped at 100 customers. Eligible for a full refund within 7 days of purchase — non-refundable after that.

• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, a Merchant of Record. By purchasing, you also agree to Dodo Payments' terms.
• Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• If your payment fails and is not resolved within the grace period, your account will be downgraded to Free.
• Lifetime Deal refunds: If you purchased the Lifetime Deal and are unsatisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase date by emailing hello@watchmysubs.com. No refunds are issued after the 7-day window.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers. Lifetime Deal pricing is fixed and not subject to change.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service beyond normal use.
• Forward emails that contain content that is illegal, threatening, or violates third-party rights.
• Use the Service to monitor subscriptions belonging to third parties without their consent.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or plan restrictions.
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.

The Service, including its code, design, and content, is owned by H2M Labs. You retain ownership of all data you provide (your billing metadata, your emails). You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that every billing anomaly will be detected. The Service is a monitoring tool — you remain responsible for reviewing your own statements and taking action on any alerts we send.

We are not responsible for any financial losses resulting from missed detections, false positives, or service downtime.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, H2M Labs's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination, all your data is permanently deleted.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
